A prayer for the season you are in
A gentle Christian prayer for seasons of joy, uncertainty or weariness, with Scripture, reflection and one practical next step.
Some seasons are full of energy. Others ask us simply to keep going. Psalm 23 speaks about provision, restoration and companionship in dark valleys. Its comfort is not a promise that every difficulty will disappear; it points us toward the Shepherd’s presence.
Read Psalm 23 slowly. Notice which phrase holds your attention. You do not need impressive words to pray. Begin with what is true: joy, weariness, confusion, gratitude, or a need you have struggled to express.
Father, meet me in this season. Teach me to receive rest without guilt and to face my responsibilities with wisdom. Help me recognize the people who need kindness and the people I can ask for help. Give me patience with what is unfinished and gratitude for the good I can already see. Lead me in a way that honours You. Amen.
After praying, choose one gentle action: rest, call someone you trust, offer practical help, or spend a few quiet minutes reading. If you share a prayer request in the community, protect your own privacy and the privacy of others.
